Talk:British Army

From ARRSEpedia

This page is h-u-u-u-u-g-e. It's going to form the basis of the new 'Portal:British Army' once I figure out how to create 'Tabs' without destroying the entire page structure! Proximo 15:28, 3 January 2008 (UTC)

Good page with good revisions. Nice to see the wiki being used if only a couple of times a year. Sysops are too heavy handed and abusive when it is claimed that anyone can contribute immediately with no interference. Not true.

No, we.just deal with trolling and supposed grown men who do their handbags at dawn on a separate page where their intended victim probably won't see it.

Act like a grown up and there's no problem. --Ritch (talk) 19:16, 21 May 2020 (UTC) -- Okay a reasonable question for you. Do you not think the arrsepedia isn't used because your attitude stinks? claiming that grown men do their handbags at dawn and excusing your behaviour by saying users aren't adults- seems a pisspoor excuse. Have you ever read the vitriol you've posted on here? If as I suspect you just can't leave things alone and insist on being obnoxious all the time, nobody's going to use this facility so just carry on with your private train set sunshine. There are other wikis out there. Phil.

Right Phil. If you've got a grievance about how I do things here, I suggest you contact the site admin. Now about you suspecting I'm obnoxious and can't leave stuff alone. It's my "job" as SysOp to see this Wiki functions. If the page needs an edit - such as a category adding to it so it won't be a "dead page", yeah, I'll do that. If there's stuff I think needs adding, I'll do that.

Not so long ago, we had certain users who thought they'd start pages about other users on ARRSE. On this Wiki, there are pages about some of the more infamous users and their exploits. Now someone thought it would be acceptable to attack other users on here, including making unfounded accusations. This isn't what the Wiki is about and I got rid.

So again, contact the admin - admin@arrse.co.uk - and read the ARRSEpedia rules.

BORN IN A BMH

If you were born in a British Military Hospital by virtue of the fact that your South African father was on Crown Service in Iser lohn in Germany, would you be classified as a British citizen and eligible for a British passport in your own right? The birth was registered with the authorities. Thank you.

You'd be better asking this question on www.arrse.co.uk as this is only the Wiki. Hope this helps. --Ritch (talk) 23:46, 17 June 2021 (UTC)
