I only achieved one A grade at A-level (taken last year), and that was in Physics. I had to put an awful lot of effort in to achieve that, it was a hard subject, though fairly logical. I also sat Biology and Chemistry. I would ask anyone saying that A-Levels have become easier to undertake a Chemistry A-Level. Put simply, it was a right bitch. --Rowums
I remember taking A levels in the 1980s. A lot of people put in a huge amount of effort and a lot didn't get any grade As. Some didn't even pass. Make of that what you will. Vomit 19:28, 18 August 2006 (BST)
I took 4 A-levels in 1999, maths, physics, chemistry, and electronics. The only taxing bits were the bits requiring regurgitation (such as reaction chains in chemistry) -- the "thinking" bits were a piece of Duff -- the stoat, who got A's in all of them.
