Mixed Fruit Pudding
Pudding Sweet Mixed Fruit was the military incarnation of the Scottish pudding called 'Cloutie dumpling'. It tasted quite good (for compo anyway) but used to take about a week to digest. It formed one of the main binding agents for the Compo Anaconda.
A favourite pastime during exercise involving the mixed fruit pudding is to replace it in the can with shit and handing to a sprog in low level light. Hours of fun for all
