Science Debates the Fallibility of The Leprechaun of Death

In a sensational report, Walther Clagg, PhD BB RtU, an Anthropologist of renown, has recently published a paper that has scandalised and divided the scientific community................

After emerging (in dishevelled state) from the Arabian South American jungles, armed only with his trusty Swiss Army knife and clutching a 1977 copy of ‘The Beano’ in his clawed hands, he announced to the scientific community that he had proof of the ‘Fallibility of the Leprechaun of Death’...............

He claims to have actual recorded details of an event preceding the extinction of the dinosaurs.....

A Texas Ranger describes the amazing scene....... ‘..Having been provided with Band-Aids and 3-in-1 oil, this renowned boffin finally managed to open the Swiss Army knife and produced a powerful magnifying glass.......so amazing were it’s properties that I could immediately perceive the charcoal rubbings taken from ancient carvings...but Dennis the Menace’s head sadly obscured a portion of this ancient text......’ he said.

Dr W Clagg (PhD BB RtU), meanwhile was adamant that the gravest ‘phrase of doom’ existing to the lost ‘wallah wallah’ tribe indigent to the region was one of profound importance....

It is a spoken language and may only be repeated phonetically (in a curious aside, Dr Clagg admitted that he heard it by pure accident); observed by the local head-man to have clipped his nails and closed his faithful Swiss Army knife.....the ancient was heard to utter the phrase “aarghf ocendin os aur sheeite Iwar nes dosc untes b eforeeaah”..........

Dr Clagg’s belief is that this is a reference to the downfall of the dinosaurs and is backed up by his copy of ‘The Beano’ Speculation is now rife that the Leprechaun Laws may now be broken and that all known physics be re-viewed......

In an amazing call to smooth the troubled waters of international angst, Professor Von Tait Shalker is quoted thus; “ Clagg was lost for 48 hours, the Leprechaun is forever....who can say ‘HE’ wasn’t just picking a confrontation..?”
