Europa's main claim to fame, however, is that she was, "seduced," by Zeus - who had taken the form of a bull for the occasion (being the Grande Fromage of a pantheon of gods opens up so many opportunities). The place Zeus took her (in the biblical as well as geographic sense) now bearing her name.
