Men who have had their danglies cut off to prevent their sex drive or improve their singing.

Historically men were castrated to perform a religious or social role in society, or as a quite extreme (IMHO) punishment.

Muslims made eunuchs Harem Guards as they mistakenly deduced that the average eunuch would be unable to knob the Sultan's favourite chick. Removal of testes merely prevents the male from procreating: the sex drive is unaltered. Men without testes are still capable of erection and penetration ... and singing like Jimmy Somerville while on the job.
