Doctor Who

Doctor Who is a science fiction telly programme on the BBC.

It originally ran from 1963 to 1989, then got locked away in a damp BBC basement (same place as they stuck Blakes 7 and Swap Shop) and we all forgot about it.

When the Beeb finally ran out of ideas for new cookery, decorating, and reality programmes (all featuring Carole Smilie and Jeremy Speake), some bright spark decided to "relaunch" Doctor Who in 2005... except this time they'd let BBC Wales produce it, which means the Cybermen are always chasing sheep and the Daleks have formed a male voice choir.

Best bit in any Doctor Who episode was the arrival Brigadier Lethbridge-Stewart and the chaps from UNIT. "Five rounds, rapid!" Magic.
