Death by Powerpoint

Death by Powerpoint is an affliction of most civilian and military training courses for the 21st Century and is a worthy successor to its well known antecedent Death By Vufoil.

DbP involves the following components:

• 1 x PC
• 1 x Set of Powerpoint slides (generally in excess of 100)
• 1 x Lecturer

Extreme DbP occurs if the lecturer doesn't know what he's talking about, doesn't know his slides, refuses to accept the obvious signs of breaking amongst his class, or is lecturing on the 'Workplace Induction Package'.

Although DbP is a significant complaint of most training course attendees, it should be noted the adverse reaction that occurs when a lecturer decides not to use a set of PowerPoint slides!!
