Chippenham

From ARRSEpedia

A town in North Wiltshire. Notable for having both a railway station and a motorway junction. Well this makes it notable in Wiltshire anyway where only Swindon goes one better with two motorway junctions.

The centre of town is a bit rubbish with a tatty shopping arcade, lots of estate agents, banks and building societies and carparks all over the place.

Mind you, it does have history. Guthrun and the Danes sacked it when they were fighting Alfred the Great before he was particularly great. I'm not sure it's ever really recovered.
