Call of Duty

Call of Duty is a series of video games developed by a game company called Infinity Ward, with a couple by another company called Treyarch.

Chances are that you have heard of this, even if you've been living under a rock for the past decade.

The first three Call of Duty's were set in World War II and featured the British, Spams and the Soviets against the evil German military, CoD 4 thought 'screw this' and set itself in an unamed, unstable Middle Eastern country. CoD 5 goes back to the Second World War sans the British. The sequel to Call of Duty 4, Call of Duty 6: Modern Warfare 2, schizophrenically decided to go back to the modern setting. Nevertheless they all do still make for some pleasant gaming experiences. Modern Warfare 2 is a rather natty game even if the developers have managed to bastardise the LSW. However, with the ability to set your picture as an SAS beret you should expect a rise in 12 year old boys from all over the Western World trying to blag to any squaddie who happens to be online that they are in fact one of THEM OR have a mate/father/brother/cousin/au pair who is in the SAS.

With the recent installments as mainstream as the X Factor, expect plenty of 13 year old boys with self-diagnosed Tourettes syndrome to have the higher levels on the server. They will accuse you of cheating if you kill them and swear. A lot. Rifle grenades are a sure way of annoying them.
