5 Trg Regt RLC are based at Prince William of Gloucester Barracks. The units role is to support the training and administration of RLC TA Regiments. The Regiment is composed of a large contingent of Civilian administrative staff and NRPS.
The Regiment comprises of the following sub units:

- 38 Col Trg Sqn
- 39 Sp Sqn
