  1. Hello,

I am extremely allergic to Zinc Oxide tape and (it seems) most other adhesive tapes used for strapping and blisters etc. Is there anyone here who also has the same problem and can advise a decent alternative? Needed mainly for feet, preventing blisters etc.

    Thanks in advance
  2. You could try this:
AMK Moleskin Pre-cut Blister Dressings - Ultralight Outdoor Gear
Google "moleskin plasters" for comparable prices.
    Or these:
    COMPEED® Blister

yet again shop around. However google "blister prevention" there is a lot out there especialy from climbers/runners. As you seem to react to most adhesive stuff you may need some alternatives i.e. thick and thin layered socks, silk&wool etc.
  3. get boots that fit properly.
  4. Have you tried coolmax liners from Bridgedale? Personally find them very good at preventing hot spots.
  5. Sounds like its not the tape youre allergic to its the adhesive. If thats the case then you'd either need to identify what specifically in the adhesive youre allergic to and find someting that doesnt have that in, or find an another method of preventing blisters. Thin pair of proper running socks under a pair of bridgedales works for me
