I can't see the auction (good old IGS), but how much are they going for?
  2. £1 will currently buy 16,246,709,213 Zimbabwe Dollars. That's a very big number!

I'll check later to see how that's dropped!
  3. Now 16,227,133,462

It's lost 19,575,751 Zim$ in an less than an hour!
  4. This is the African approach to running a Central Bank. If you made it up for film people would say it was a racist cliche. It's long winded but worth a read.

  5. Highest denomination note is Z$50 billion at the moment. They're called agri cheques and, like other Zim banknotes, have an expiry date.

I believe that due to the deteriorating economic situation under Mugarbage the banknotes are now being printed in single ply only.

The company printing their banknotes is also a bit fed up with Mugarbage and they're refusing to do the job in future. Things could get interesting.....

  6. I thought it was 500,000,000 votes.
  7. Interesting - a case where the paper is worth more than the monetary amount printed on it

    ... makes a change (no pun intended ;) )
