Welcome to the Army Rumour Service, ARRSE

The UK's largest and busiest UNofficial military website.

The heart of the site is the forum area, including:

  1. Baz Luhrmans song 'Sunscreen' was based upon a headmasters speach to graduating pupils, in it the Headmaster exorted his almost former pupils to have good lifes and remember to wear sunscreen...

    I wonder if this could be set to music!!!

    You’re Not Special -

    Edited to add the second page, and delete the repeat.

    Good spot Mikal.

  7. Out. *******. Standing. I couldn't spot a single premise that wasn't perfectly honed, pin-point accurate and as applicable to the UK as well as the US.

    One of the most perfectly-crafted and velvetly-delivered rants I've ever heard!

  8. You're not special, Headmaster's speech.

    Fail. Re-test tomorrow after school in my study.

    But there was no mention of "sunscreen"
  10. I prefer this one;
  11. Ah Mr Gilbert. Surely the best teacher there has never been!

    Oddly enough, my tutor was called Mr Gilbert. But the Mr Gilbert depicted in the Inbetweeners movie was more like another teacher we had who was a completely fcuking psycho French teacher. You didn't fcuk about in his lessons; or his wifes' mainly because he would probably hear about it...

    Yes, I fcuked up twice in the spelling.

  13. If you read the first half, you're OK. It repeats.
  14. Thought it looked a bit long... sorted now, and with the extra page added. (it's only a few lines but for completeness sake, worth reading).
  15. FFS - it's American! :)
