Welcome to the Army Rumour Service, ARRSE

The UK's largest and busiest UNofficial military website.

The heart of the site is the forum area, including:

  1. Leading on from the "For Those Born before 1986" thread. I know this has been probably been done before, but hey, I've been messing around with youtube. I found:

    Daddy Cool

    Come Back My Love

    Boy From New York City

I was all of 7 and my mum took me to the Liverpool Royal Court and we grooved in the Lower Circle. Afterwards, I think she told them I was their "greatest fan" and blagged us into the party afterwards, either that or she offered them free drinks at my nan's pub on Harrington Street.

Bloody hell, that brings back memories.

Last time I went to the Royal Court was to see The Seahorses. Top band, but the place was full of "blue smoke" (it's OK, I would have to stand in a phone box for 200 days with someone smerking weed to come up on CDT before I was picked up) and I thought the Lower Circle was going to collapse.
  2. Runrig at Loch Lomond in the 80's.

Saw them at T In The Park in 1998. Very good indeed, especially when they played 'Blinded By The Sun' just as the sun set.

First concert was by top scousers Mansun though (96-ish, I think).
