Dug a border
And planted it.
Cut down trees.
Dried the washing.
Himself cut kindling
And the lawn.
I am knackered!

Started work early
Finished work early
Chilled out afternoon
Options for food
Limited as restaurants
And pubs closed
Thanks to Boris!!

Every cloud has
Toxic chemical content?

Still in pyjamas*,

TF for t'internet!
Same again tomorrow
and next day
and next day

*usually sleep nuddy,

Pffft! That's nothing.
I phoned some
old people I
know to see
if they're OK,
then sorted some
cheeses and Warre's
for my lunch.
Now off to
toast some crumpets
in order to
spread with some
fresh set honey
for my tea.

Moules marinieres - yum.
Had them tonight,
using Morrison's frozen
mussels (no shells)
OK, possibly cheating
But really good
with onion, butter
(no cream with
this recipe) and
dollop of garlic.
And accompanied by
delicious asparagus vinaigrette.
Plus white Rioja,
some in the
sauce, but most
in my wineglass.
(Mrs Wightsparker preferred
some mulled wine.)

And added benefit
is there is
now more room
in the freezer
for loo rolls..............:)

53 gone Today
When will this
End? I laughed
When the figure
Of 250000 was
Mentioned but not
Finding it funny
Anymore that's for
Certain and dreading
Losing someone close

Handling this the
British way by
Drawing the curtains
The virus can't
Get to me
Then surely, right?

53 out of
Over 60 million
Isn't many really.

Just be careful
Follow Government Guidance
And care for
Your nearby neighbours.

More die of
Measles every year.
There's a vaccine
Which folk ignore!!!
