Your day in 3 words

Sitrep jaw not
broken. However will
have a nice
scar on the
jaw as I
skipped A&E on
the day. Also
went to Charing
Cross hospital down
the road at
3:30pm, by the
time I left?
9pm. Spent 6
f-ing hours there.
All for someone
to scan my
x-rays and look
at them. I
wish I made
the trek to
my old walk-in
in E14. Welcome
to NHS eh?
Overworked and understaffed.
Still can't believe
I spent so
much time for
this simple thing.
Glad you're ok.
Be assured that
If it were
Serious, you would
Have been seen
Much more quickly.
Triage means that
Non urgent cases
Must wait longer
But no one
Dies of heart
Attack in queue
Behind sunburn, blisters
Or cold sores.

Blooming knees playing
Up again.. must
be cold, damp
and wet weather
on the way ...

New Year's Resolutions
are not always
a good thing...
New Year, new
husband, fat
bank account.
I take it
you don't like
using three words
on each line.

Nights last night
single crewed (again)
other crew and sergeant
on a search
just left me
to answer calls
call came in
whilst I was
on the bog
to add injury
to obvious insult
went to victim
and his bloody
dog bit me
oh, the joys
of public service
!!!

Dog squitty again.
Visiting vet tomorrow -
Been a week.
Four boots available
In odd shape.

Glad you're ok.

The funny thing
is I probably
would've been if
I went through
the "check-in" process.
I went in
bleeding like a
stuck pig. But
when I saw
crowd there in
the reception I
said f-it. I
will deal with.
Now I will.
With a scar.
