Someone write in to the BBC to ask why soldiers were ranked as well as armed forces officers - and where were airmen and seamen?

Sorry - should have read 'wrote' NOT 'write'....

Vermin,

Don't get started on that one...do you know how many air corps pilots are on here...its bad enough that they get paid £25 a day extra without making them even more "appreciated"...sorry guys I know you'll only give me grief and then explain that your highly trained and could earn much more...blah blah blah .....zzzzzzzzzzzz
