He obviously doesn't give a toss about the victims of these two mass murderers then. He's sunk lower than North Sea oil if he "respects" these cowards.

Gerry Adams and Martin McGuinness have "courage in abundance" according to Tony Blair, who admits in his memoirs he liked them "more than I should have" during the Northern Ireland peace process:

Tony Blair: I liked Gerry Adams and Martin McGuinness 'more than I should' - Telegraph

Can we withdraw this ******* security detail now?
I ****ing hate that man.

This is the same Narcissistic whore who enacted Human Rights legislation whilst his poisonous cow of a wife was setting up 'Matrix Chambers' a Legal Firm to deal with..Human Rights Legislation.

I take it neither of these filthy parasites have ever heard of 'Conflict of Interest'

The more this man says, the more I hate him. I believe he is a truly evil man, concerned only with the power of the dollar, or that obtained by the votes of the great unwashed, ignorant masses. He obviously has no conscience and regards the rest of humanity as scum.

Only a sociopath like Blair would try to convince himself that this reformed character was a human
rights success story. “Because it was the right thing to do”

The end product in this photo is what happens when one of those reformed characters expresses
appreciation for having the liberty to demand their human rights.

At the risk of being a dissenting voice here.... and I'm no socialist handwringer but didn't TB put the UK into two wars which we - on ARRSE - were fully in favour of and end one on our door step? Not to mention some pretty robust action in Kosovo and SL.

I don't think any of those three ended/will end well but you can't sit here and call him a Cnut for NI which HAS SAVED SQUAD DIES LIVES whilst at the same time blaming him for all the deaths on Herrick/Telic and not remember our opinions in 2001 and 2003.

If you ask me, ending Op Banner the way it was done was the best way to eat a shit sandwich. It sure leaves a very nasty taste in your mouth but at least its over (Real/Continuity aside) and I for one count it as a tick in the win column. Did PIRA achieve any of its high level aims? Did we? End of argument then.

That said, BLiar raped the established political system, politicised government roles and none of this was for the better. That he is a hooray socialist applying a red label to blue policies has also gone a long way to slaughtering the CND/Foot/That Welsh twat's heartfelt party too. Nice to see from - I guess - our POV's.

Terrorists are generally not brave....
I'm not sure that is true at all, I think you'll find they're generally the bravest 'combatant' there is. You don't have to like them.

I'll have to beg to differ there I'm afraid. Dressing in civvys, not carrying weapons openly, planting bombs and hitting soft targets are not the tactics of a courageous man. Motivated ? Yes. Callous ? Definately. The consequences of being caught by a 'civilised' occupier are not punative.

I appreciate that one man's terrorist is another man's freedom fighter and all that and i would adopt similar tactics if my country of residence was being occupied but that wouldn't make me courageous necessarily.
Although if you haven't been brainwashed, then a suicide charge might count as having bollox :)

Edited to add * I do acknowledge that SOE were courageous in WW2 but then I'm a hypocrite. And they risked death being captured. Terry most definately does not.

Mr Blair's comments show how emotionally detached he was from the whole issue of Northern Ireland. Probably the best man for the job, but one wonders whether that state of mind was particularly helpful thereafter. Especially when combined with "the hand of destiny" on his shoulder.

Let's not forget it was John Major who started the process , a man who personally survived a muder attempt on his life by the provos . Major sitting down to talk to his would be killers . Now that took guts
