WW2 Rifles decoration

Evening all,

I've just been shown a form of decoration which I presume is from WW2, and also presuming it's a rifles decoration as it's got the rifles powder horn. Basically it's a -

Rifles power horn at the bottom.
A star directly above the horn
A wreath on each side curling up to the top with some weird little shapes in the wreath.. impossible to explain without a picture.
The whole thing is silver.

The person who's is was served in WW2 but I'm unsure what regiment/theatre.

Any ideas? I tried googling it but didn't really bring much up.
