For any of you interested in the history of Bedford trucks in military service, Kelsey Publishing Ltd (www.kelsey.co.uk) published a collection of Classic Military Vehicle articles by Ralph Coates in an A4 sized paperback entitled Bedford at War (ISBN 1 873098 72 3).
This book has everything Bedford-related from the pre-war vehicles to the Bedford-Marshalls and the end of Bedfords long reign as the premium military truck for Britain. Excellent colour and black & white photos, production run details and all variants are featured. A very informative volume for the enthusiast. Cost around £16.95, or less on flea-bay.
