WW2 (and post) medals

Welcome to the Army Rumour Service, ARRSE

The UK's largest and busiest UNofficial military website.

The heart of the site is the forum area, including:

  1. My father has given me his WW2 and Palestine medals. He has never worn them. In fact they're still in they're original boxes with the ribbons separate.

I want to get them court mounted (they're substantially Allier than mine) and put them in a display case on a wall in the house somewhere so my three young boys can see what granddad did (perhaps "went through" might be more appropriate).

My question is where to get them properly court mounted? I left the Army almost 15 years ago but got mine done by Dege at the time. I wouldn't go back to them unless I absolutely had to.
  2. Redwood & Feller - Rochester Row, London. A small tailors but bloody good and not too pricey.
  3. Much appreciated. Danke schon.
