Welcome to the Army Rumour Service, ARRSE

The UK's largest and busiest UNofficial military website.

The heart of the site is the forum area, including:

  1. Did you serve in Iraq or Afghanistan? Are you interested in creative writing? Would you like to develop your writing skills, and get writing tips from a professional writer?

UCL researchers, in collaboration with Sarah May, the author of seven published books, are organising two creative writing workshops to explore how war stories can be articulated. We are currently looking for people to participate in these workshops. No previous writing experience is required to participate.

These workshops are free to attend but registration is required and places are limited.

The workshops will take place at UCL, Gower Street, London WC1E 6BT, between 1-5 p.m. on Saturdays, 18 June and 25 June 2011.
