Worth a read

Welcome to the Army Rumour Service, ARRSE

The UK's largest and busiest UNofficial military website.

The heart of the site is the forum area, including:

  1. Excellent article, he always was eloquent though. If nothing else it shows the calibre of JNCO we are lucky enough to have.
  2. Not an Int man myself but well said! A sad loss to the army in general and a fitting tribute by his brother.
  3. Very shortly after Jabron's death, his brother sent a letter to someone on my det out in Afghanistan. (I think it was as little as two weeks later). The level of acceptance, understanding and forgiveness expressed in that letter so soon after his death was humbling. I shed a tear reading it and could not read it a second time, as was the case with the recipient.
Having met Jabron on several occasions (including during his brief spell in Afghanistan) he really was as committed as has been made out. He knew he was in immense danger but cracked on anyway. An immense loss to the British Army and he will be sorely missed by all who met him.
