What do you define as "worst". Bikie pubs? Gay bars? Getting glassed by drunken bogans?

That's tricky, they are all full of loud Strains or boring Kiwis.

I can only speak from a SE QLD perspective. The Wickham hotel in Fortitude Valley is great if you like the idea of your starfish being smashed in by a large man with a mustache. The Stepp Inn at the Valley 5 ways is good for derros and recently released crims.

The Ox hotel at Oxenford is a Finks (bikie) pub, but not too bad. The Alex Hills hotel is good for getting stabbed or raped.

I was in the Norfolk Hotel in "Slurry" Hills last night, not a bad pub...don't know the Aurora though, might have to check it out, sounds good!

The ones frequented by Australians tend to be pretty shit.

I prefer the Coomera Lodge, up near Maudsland. Particularly on a Fri afternoon when 'Bikini' bird is waiting on.

Might struggle to find a pub thats not frequented by Aussies. Try Inala for a "multicultural" experience.

Try the Kuraby hotel on Kingston Rd. for strippers and skimpies at Friday lunchtimes.

Aurora is a dive(worst pub in Oz contender).

Go to the Strawberry Hills, good cheap steak meals.

The Gaelic Club on Devonshire Street (upstairs) and the Exibition, opposite Central Station much better Surry Hill boozers.

However, if you are young and single get ye to the Bondi hotel, and the Coogee Bay, if a bit older the Watson's bay hotel is great!

Also catch a bus to the "Newport Arms"(Northern Beaches) one of the nicest beer gardens in the world.
