Women's football on the BBC

I cannot believe the amount of airtime the BBC are devoting to advertising let alone showing this drivel , as if it is even going to vaguely compete with the Ashes over on Sky.
If the viewing figures even get into four figures it will be a miracle .
The government really should look at getting rid of the licence fee and cut the BBC loose for once and for all .
After all , it all gets pissed away on golden handshakes , moving locations and exhorbitant appearance fees , rather than decent telly, especially sport .

The standards are getting much better, but without a strong interest at domestic level, it's always going to lag behind the men's game in entertainment value

Domestic interest will never be strong enough to overcome the fact that it's complete shoite. The current interest of the BBC is entirely driven by a combination of fanatical feminists of lesbian bent and the primal fear they inspire in 5 Live journalists, for whom periodically praising the limited footballing skills of a tattooed asbo-dodger is a small price to pay for backstage access to real sporting events.

What would you rather have? 22 Premiership tits mincing around the pitch-or 44 tits doing much the same?
Whatever the activity, it's not unreasonable to expect those you're paying good money to watch to be considerably better at what they're doing than you are/were at the same age.

Aww - are your little boys pants in a twist over the fact that womens sports are getting some airtime?

Lets face facts here - the premiership is full of poncy, mercenary whores who have little love of the game and even less loyalty to their team.
If you want to enjoy a really good game of football you would be better off finding a conference league team where the players aren't afraid to say hello the fans and whose ego isn't matched only by their paychecks.

No, we're getting upset about the Establishment's insistence that we take them seriously and the waste of money involved.

Oh, and if you really enjoy a good game of anything, go and play one.

well for at least two days this football will turn into rage, sobbing and eating chocolate at halftime, then shoplifting in the club shop!
