The UK's largest and busiest UNofficial military website.

The heart of the site is the forum area, including:

  1. I'm not going into details, I know very little, but I thought for those out of the loop but who may have known him would want to know that Jim passed away yesterday after a motorcycle accident.

RIP Jim, you will be missed by many, many people.
  2. Top, top man. Nicest guy I have ever served with/met. It still hasn't sunk in yet.

    Take care mate.
  3. Jim. You were a top bloke and will always be remembered that way. I consider myself richer for having known you as a friend, colleague and confidant. You will be missed mate. My heart felt condolences to your family.

  4. RIP Jim, one of the best guys I ever had the privilege to work with. Sad, sad news.
  5. Words fail me. Heartfelt condolences to his family. I enjoyed working with him - both on the ground and in the air. The aviation family has lost a treasured son. RIP Jim.
