You can have multiple Apple TVs on a network, all showing the same HDMI content. Unfortunately you are limited to showing content from your iTunes library unless you have an Apple device with AirPlay Mirroring. In which case, you can mirror your Mac display on to the multiple Apple TVs.
With OSX Mavericks you will be able to use your TVs as a display for a Mac, not just a mirror.

Their stuff is Good. That'll do that with a suitable video switcher.
It's not off the shelf but I'm sure you could do this with raspberry pi boards, wifi dongles and a media centre distro.
