Welcome to the Army Rumour Service, ARRSE

The UK's largest and busiest UNofficial military website.

The heart of the site is the forum area, including:

  1. Is it just me, or do the dark nights and pouring rain just make getting out and training seem so much harder to do and enjoy.
I sit for 10+ hours a day at a pc looking forward to getting home to give myself a beasting, then by the time i have fought my way out of Manchester down the M62 i feel like shit.
    Roll on summer,
  2. Go for a run at lunch time?
  3. Have you tried it in the morning? Set's you up for the day. And besides - 'if it ain't raining, it ain't training'.
  4. I used to, but out the house for 06:30 with work now, but your right it's a good time to train.
  5. At the very least, invest in a rowing machine, it may not be the ideal solution but at least you'll be getting some fizz whilst staying warm and dry (you big girls blouse  )
  6. I know the feeling you have with lack of motivation. Years ago nothing would come between me and a training session. Now everything comes between me and a training session.

    BTW, nights are getting longer.
