The fall out from this BLM shit,
Any black person getting promoted in any company, will have the question asked,
Did they get it because they merit it or because they are black,
Doesn't do the skilled blacks any favours, does it ?
Creates more problems than it solves
Many years ago we had an Asian senior manager in BT called Millie Bannajee. Coming out of BT Centre one day she saw an unattended red and white striped engineers shelter with a number of tools lying around. The engineer was nowhere to be seen. She picked up the tools and took them to the exchange in King Edward Street demanding the Exchange manager take disciplinary action against the engineer. He said he couldn’t do that. “Why not?” asked Ms Bannajee - “Because they belong to the Gas Board” replied the manager .....

Considering the tearing down of statues - if one thinks about the toppling of Sadaam Hussein's statue after the Iraq war, does anybody's opinion on statue toppling change at all?

Someone was arrested in the UK for Saddam's statue.

What about the ones who vandalised Colston's statue?

Left this on the desk top in preparation to sending on to a mate.

Missus opened it, unimpressed.

"I suppose you downloaded that from your non pc racist army site, where they call a spade a spade".

"That is a slur, they call a spade an entrenching tool, get it right!"

Might be the new Pantone period 'confident red'.
"An active and adventurous red hue, courageous Period emboldens those who menstruate to feel proud of who they are -- to own their period with self-assurance; to stand up and passionately celebrate the exciting and powerful life force they are born with; to urge everyone, regardless of gender, to feel comfortable to talk spontaneously and openly about this pure and natural bodily function,"
I often feel like spontaneously asking women people who menstruate if they're on the blob.

somehow I doubt those poor women experiencing 'period poverty' will be running/cycling/kite-surfing to buy whatever overpriced product this is

For those of a certain vintage like me, you might remember a TV series shown in 1977 called Roots. It was based on a novel written in 1976 by a black author called Alex Hayley, Hayley claimed that the story was based the actual history of his family starting with his ancestor called Kunta Kinte, who was captured in Africa in 1767 and transported to America as a slave. I remember the BBC really pushed the White Guilt at the viewers, even then. Hayley won a special Pulitzer for his 'history'.
Hayley got into a spat with a white author called Harold Courlander. Courlnder accused Hayley of plagiarising his novel, The African.
It transpired that Hayley DID plagiarise Courlander's novel.
Black History Month bangs on about Mary Seacole the black nurse in the Crimea around the time of Florence Nightingale. Children, through The National Curriculm are conditioned to believe she was a brave nurse helping wounded British soldiers.
The fact is, she was never a nurse, she was a business woman who ran a hotel. The closest she got to nursing was selling jars of herbs to the wounded. She never set foot in a hospital.
This morning I heard a blackman on TV say that the 1985 Brixton riots should be renamed, The Brixton Uprising.

Our history is under attack and the people who should be guarding it are allowing it to happen all in the name of Political Correctness.

Day 2 of this Black Rule October, or whatever it is, and no sign as yet of black riots, terrorism, revolution or slashings and stabbings. But, then again, no sign of XRW stuff. Perhaps they don't like coming out in the rain either.

Only 10% of the UK population but must be 80% of the news (only the positive news of course) - personally really sick of the relentless lies & distortion of facts.
My favorite utterance from one of the cultural enriching emissaries was " Fire Mission alle de Guns"
- you couldn't make this shit up :(

Driving past a Belize Defence Force sentry many years ago, I noticed that his boots were on the wrong foot.

If you watch it backwards it has a happy ending.

For an uprising, it hasn't actually acheived a lot in 35 years. It was a riot pure and simple, nothing political about it, it started because the local population mistakenly believed that the mother of a petty criminal had been killed by plod, said petty criminal had fired a gun 2 days earlier and then done a runner.
