Welcome to the Army Rumour Service, ARRSE

The UK's largest and busiest UNofficial military website.

The heart of the site is the forum area, including:

  1. I have an ingrown toenail on my left and right big toe, the left one is the only one that could potentially p*** me off and was wondering if the army would be bothered , i am currently in route to sorting it out so it should be fixed soon any way

i think it was the way i cut them and partly due to the type of football boots i wore , doctor referred me today after 2 years

sorry for the spelling mistake before
  2. So you've got six toes on each foot then. Are they webbed to prevent you sinking in the fens?
  3. Not always related to how you cut them. My dad has had both his taken out and i've had one done. It can run in the family.
  4. Thanks for the replies so quick guys really appreciated
  5. Answer is yes, probably, particularly as it is an ongoing condition and "being sorted out". If it affects your function i.e. running etc, even more so.

Footcare is a particular problem amoung all Army recruits, Regular and Reserve.

Go for your medical anyway and be prepared for them to tell you to come back when it is sorted.

Buy the bigger toenail clippers available.
