Why should I pay for Old Age Social Care

Mate by the time we're of a pensionable age they'll just have a conveyor belt to mass tip geriatrics into a massive volcano as the cost of caring for us will be impossible. Either that or a mass synthetic opioid programme to keep geriatrics as low maintenance as possible until we overdose.
Nah...'Soylent Green'. ;-)

According to an article in the Daily Unmentionable, which I am banned upon pain of death from providing a link to on here, those born in the 1970s and later could be waiting another SEVEN years for their state pension.
Having looked at the Paper that shall not be named (so you don't have to) its reporting proposals to raise the SPA to 68 seven years sooner than planned (in 2037 vs 2044) not raise the SPA by 7 years

Raising the age for OAP is fine providing the government also makes individuals pay for every year of working that they use the NHS system.

They do, it's called National Insurance, and last time I checked you need 46 years of contributions to qualify for a full State Pension.

To receive the full new State Pension, you'll need to have at least 35 qualifying years of National Insurance contributions. It's payable to people who have reached their State Pension age on or after 6 April 2016. Anyone with less than this will receive a reduced State Pension

An Actuary is someone who found the life of accounting far too exciting .

That is probably an old joke but I first heard it from a bloke who was president of the Chartered institute of Accountants (or something like that).

He also said "an insolvency practitioner is someone who watches a battle from a hill then comes down and bayonets all the wounded".

Only about 15-20% of NHS funding comes from NI. The vast majority comes from general taxation with a small part coming from things that the NHS charges for (prescriptions, private patients, car parking etc)

The old socialists would have sent most of the unfortunate to a glue factory(animal farm), as you either work or starve. Its the conservative mindset that argues that the unfortunate need to be helped and cared for, the elderly and children, the disabled et al.

The new socialists have a different mindset entirely. Its about taxing more those groups believed to vote conservative and anyone who votes labour should not have to pay tax or a nominal amount.
What a load of b*ll*x.

You’ve got your head screwed on backwards!
