Why doesn't the British Military apply the Multi-Terrain Pattern (MTP) to the SA-80?

It was trialled a few years back but a couple of lads put their weapons down to brew up and then couldn't find them again.
The rest of the trials team downed tools to help them look and ended up losing 30 weapons.

Personally I’ve always thought anybody with a camouflaged weapon looks a bit of a tw@t
Then it wasn't properly camouflaged.

Camouflage of any sort is cowardly. It signifies a fearful and timid army that is in hiding. Paint the bloody things scarlet.
with strobe lights for night time

I'd just like one where the paint hasn't all been scratched off the SUSAT leaving a nice shiny surface for the sun to reflect off to be honest!

It didn’t need it. They tended to be REMFs

Just like the American filing clerks who had to have M203s
So incorrect camo.
Should have been painted to look like a stapler.
