Who You’d Nominate as Best Brit Woman Singer Ever

Mrs. Miner goes for Kate Bush (snigger, snigger), or Amy Winohouse.

Personally I'm going for Dusty Springfield.

Annie Lennox is class though.

Edited for my spakoid spelling.

Dusty was excellent and helped bring Mo'town to this country. My choice has to be Shirley Bassey though.

Listen to her song 'Diamonds are Forever' a very subtle hint about an appendage that nearly got the song banned by the British Board of Film Censors.

Kirsty McColl - fantastic songwriter and very good singer.

Probably best not to ask her for advice about speedboats though.
Seconded, and also for some reason Cerys Matthews for that ever-so-slightly smoky voice.
