What we do is obviously quite significant, especially with current Operations. but with only just over 400,000 personnel (reservists included over all 3 services) out of a population of 60+ million, we're a small drop in the pond vote wise.

Even less of a group when you think how many wont even bother, or will just vote randomly.

Just do a straw poll in your LAD, ask how many have even registered.

thanks for all the replies the box in lad sounds like a plan!!! ill see what they think. prob going to be clegg he doesn't care if he upsets the fat cats in the European parliament thats what we need and he wants to give us a pay rise happy days.

Families as well. No-one is suggesting that all of those people will all vote the same way, or even vote at all, or even have bothered to register, or they will decide their vote solely on defence/armed forces considerations but the armed forces community represents a respectable chunk of votes.
