Are the guys still using the 750 Tiger? Or has anyone one on here got experience of working on them?

My mate has bought a civvie one recently and has got Carburetion problems. He thinks that the fuel slide is worn, he gets a lack of fuel to then engine when holding at a steady pace however if he twists the throttle the engine pulls normally. Anyone help or can anyone get their hands of a working carb?
  2. Amal carbs are the best. Is his a single (tiger) or double carb (bonny)?

    Single Carb.
  4. has you simpily droped the fuel and cleaned out the silt from the plug bolt. He may find silt is blocking his needle. OR his air filter maybe in need of replacment..Or the gasket at the manifold between carb and head maybe U/S thus sucking in air...Rule these out first as are the cheap. Before taking carb to bits.
