IIRC from what a pipie taught me that many Scotches are merely cooking scotches fit for making caramel -- but a truly well-aged Lagavulin seduced my taste buds and now I will never look back on lesser whiskiesI’ve got a bottle of Shackleton on the shelf, it keeps getting passed over for drinking, there’s always something newer to open. Is it any good?
