which side do you put your poppy on your peak cap?

  10. For the OP, the easiest way to remember is to look at a civvy suit. The left lapel has a buttonhole, so it follows that foliage goes to the left. Alternatively, remember that the poppy is tucked behind your (beret) capbadge which should be over your left eye.

    Girls have funny rules because their buttons are on the wrong side to make it easier to dress kids.
