    Quick question, if you have next of kin that is registered disabled and you are the main carer does the army give a shit?

    Yes, RB, it does, especially if that "caring" impacts upon your ability to perform your job or restricts your postings and deployments.

    Does your Welfare Officer know? Does your Troopie know?

    Knew a singly once that was the registered carer for their Dad. After a pile of paperwork got a quarter etc. Took a while as it was outside the normal parameters but achievable. Again caused a few letters on posting but do able.

    Also seen a few converted Quarters for wheelchair access etc but may lead to static posting.
