Welcome to the Army Rumour Service, ARRSE

The heart of the site is the forum area, including:

  1. i have for 2 weeks now been at my unit as a re-enlister,
my partner (not wife) and 2 children are in the uk,im still not on jpa as not serving and have been given 1000 euros to send home for mortgage and food for my family and other bills,i have been told that an so1 is trying to get me onto jpa but as it stands still cant do it,we are about to deploy on adventure training and then a 5 week exercise,
1.if im not down as serving am i insured for this.
2.how will i be able to get payments sent home.
    3. am i in my rights to ask to go home and work on the agencies untill im on jpa and being properly administered.
some advice would be very greatfull
  2. IF you are at your unit now then your no longer a re-enlister, you are just another number.
have you signed a new contract? if you have then you are in if you havent then you shouldnt be there, simple as that.
  3. i have signed no new contract what so ever i just got a posting order faxed to me and turned up at my unit.
