According to my Dad (who lives in Chester) it has been renamed Fox Barracks, but he is bewildered most of the time so I'd check on that if I was you!

Saighton camp is/was a wooden hut job, I believe closed and disposed of now.
What an awesome place Saighton was. Not too far to the City if I remember rightly.

Its still called Dale Bks. It's mothballed at the moment, whilst refurbishment is carried out. It will eventually become the permanent home of 1 R Welsh later this year, when they finish in Cyprus.

I don't think any part of the camp is available. The best call would be to the Chester ACIO on 01244 321833. See what they know.

Going back a bit here, but:

The Dale camp is a relatively modern purpose built inf bks.

Fox bks is an RAC TA bks on the same land as the Dale, but in an enclave.

Saighton camp is/was a wooden hut job, I believe closed and disposed of now.
What, like Gorazde?!
