Strange . Sure I saw him . I must have been mistook .
Perhaps I had ended up seeing old posts of his as I was looking through a couple of threads .
That's the only explanation I can think of ..

I recall a poster called Big Ron W, who said that he kept getting e-mails from people who thought he was an American car dealer with the same name as him; and asking about the cars on his website and forecast. Long time ago I suppose.

Also from the old days, what happened to people such as msr or Yeoman Dai? Or Countrygal?

Close - thanks for noticing my absence. I got fed up with having posts removed without explanation. For me, ARRSE is supposed to be an entertaining diversion from real life (of which I seem to have hit a seam of 'what's going tits up next?' lately). I was already self-censoring and had reduced posting to just a few threads, but was still falling foul of whatever new rules have been implemented. It all became too much hassle.

However I've stuck my nose in today as a tax-return avoidance strategy. It will be interesting to see how long this post lasts...

I know msr in real life. He’s alive & well & IIRC recently gained his Majority.
