What would happen ?

  1. Not sure if i am posting this on the right bit... I have been thinking alot about this. My question is what would happen to the british military if scotland got its independence ? :?

  3. I'd expect the heavy gear would be split on the basis of population, with England also getting the stuff (nuclear sub, etc.) that Scotland didn't want. Regiments would be allocated based on geographical location. Scots would, despite coming from a now independent country, be allowed to continue to serve in the English armed forces if they so wished.

    It won't happen though.
  4. I thought I heard on the news this a.m. that Scotland would allow the army to keep its bases in Scotland. There's nice.
