What Would Be Your Zombie Gun?

#1
I've just finished watching 'American Guns' that airs on the Discovery Channel and they made a 'Zombie Gun' from a Mare's Leg with a .500 Smith & Wesson cartridge.

Then they got onto which type of weapon would be the perfect Zombie weapon, ranging from the AK47 to the 12-Gauge Mossberg to the SKS. That got me thinking;

What would your Zombie gun be? I think mine would have to be the AA-12 for the sheer fun factor.

Naval gunfire. Accept no substitute.

Edited to add additional, personal kit:-

Zombie proof beard protector.

Shite resistant, armoured codpiece

Personal side arm, sticky foam gun

Probably a HK416, not too big so there wouldnt be a cumbersome factor - but also able to deal some damage at a distance when I'm hiding on a roof.

Usual stupid SS answer - Phased plasma rifle in the 40 watt range.

Serious answer - whatever I could find the most ammo for and hope it can take a suppressor

Although the true zombie killing connoisseur likes to here the thwack of willow on temple and carries a cricket bat for those 'got red on your shirt' moments.

Winchester? Dogs can look up too.

Easy - 12 bore, pump action, 11 rounds, buck or solid slug. Anything fitting those criteira. I just happen to have one right here. 12g ammo is very available once the slugs and buck is all gone, break into enough houses and you'll find some.

Anything that's able to send rounds a decent distance away but able to let rip should things get a tad claustrophobic and my trusty hammer with a stanley knife taped to the top isn't to hand. Oh, and with abundant ammunition. **** that sitting around waiting shite, I'd be stocking up and taking as many as I could especially ones that look like they may still have wallets, watches, gold filling, etc. still on them...

Would the size of round matter much? After all, you can kill them with a nailgun provided it goes through the brain.

apart from what I allready have, the only anti-zombie gun I would want (with at least 12 Rds!), would be this........

I feel we are all missing the point. Zombies. The living dead. You can climb a tree or nuke the *******. They will be back. Because they are, UNDEAD. Jesus ******* Christ. Did you people read the briefing papers or what?

I feel we need a negotiating position. Meet my close personal friend and associate Doris. Doris has form with zombies. Some say she is one.
