What will he say to Bliar next time in the tearoom??

The grandson of a Staffordshire MP has been injured in a mortar attack on his barracks in Iraq.
Trooper Jonathon Boon, who is serving with the Queen's Royal Lancers, suffered shrapnel wounds to his leg in the mortar attack on his barracks.

His grandfather, George Stevenson, the Labour MP for Stoke South who voted against the war, confirmed the incident on Friday.
Get Tory Blairs son,Euan, into a line unit and lets see how quick we get kit and manning levels back to where they should be. :x
Spinning ???

Good to see that Tpr Boon and his grandfather have more common sense, personal bravery and respect for the call of duty than some of the ARSE correspondents:

"I know about thousands of other families who are worried for their family members serving in the armed forces, particularly in Iraq which is a very dangerous part of the world."

He added the incident had happened about three weeks ago and his grandson had now left hospital, although he was still undergoing treatment.

"He has got to go back to hospital and then he will get a spot of leave but he will be going back, he likes the army," he said.

Well done Boon, I say. His Regiment and family should be proud
