What was number 1 when you were born?

(In order to take a bit of the strain off Darth regarding daft websites)

Have you ever wondered what was number 1 in the charts on the day that you were born? Try Number 1

Apparently Cliff Richard and the Shadows were number 1 with Summer Holiday in both the singles and album charts when I entered.

Whatever happened to that guy?

Ah that explains the strange fondness I have the musical stylings of the Bay City Rollers

Although Bye Bye Baby has never been my favourite example of their work.

Not ringing any bells. :? I'm still in the office, but will listen to "Seasons in the Sun" when I get home - thanks chris951!
If my old braincells are still ticking away correctly, I think that the delightful little cheeky boyband PESTLIFE (or was it BOYDRONE?) ripped it off - sorry covered it - a couple of years ago.

If it was embarrasing in it's original form imagine that embarrassment 10 fold (RANT - should be a feckin law brought out for them talentless little muppets to stay where they are and not allow them to speak farless sing /RANT). No I don't like them if anyone feels the need to ask!! :x
