What now for the EU ?

Except for his inability to apologise for his blatant lies and waffle.

Are you saying his claiming to have apologised for the Brexit vote to a bunch of visiting star rank officers and diplomats at an official dinner was an untruth? Surely not as he's a honourable man and worthy of limitless praise.....

Yes, it is, because it never happened.

Pay attention BL's friend the Chief Swiss Admiral of the Grand Fleet told him. Or you know, Google.
Where one gets the info from is not relevant. He was correct and I was 6 months out of date! :(

Apparently the speaker can recall parliament on his own cognisance.......who'd a thunk it.

Are you really suggesting Brexit will be a force for good for the next 2000 years?
A force for good like this you mean?

I prefer the idea of a Northern Economic Community, with the four UK nations plus Norway, Portugal, Sweden and Denmark. Possibly adding Holland and Germany but never France, former Eastern Bloc countries or Club Med.
Oh I don't know, add the Benelux countries, Spain and Portugal leaving France with an overdose of paranoia.

S Ireland can apply but we can keep them on the application stage without ever approving. Just keep asking for more and more spurious items - a bit like they have been doing with the EU!

Not just the French government, the country believes the blame sits wholly with the UK not giving in.

Lets face it, giving in is their default strategy.

Not Spain and Portugal, they're both economic basket cases and both have a history of sucking voraciously on the teat of free money.

Might be worth it just wind up the Frogs! ;).

And Portugal is the UK's oldest formal ally.

Indeed, but not at the price of the UK economy.
And Portugal is the UK's oldest formal ally.
Indeed it is, but don't think for one minute they'd do us any favours, nor drain us dry if they had the chance.
