Brexit poll: Boris dealt huge blow as more than HALF of UK adults want to REJOIN EU

BREXIT BRITAIN and Boris Johnson have been dealt a crushing blow after a bombshell poll revealed more than half of UK adults would vote to rejoin the European Union if another referendum was to take place.

The survey of 2,231 UK adults from November 5-7 shows if another referendum was to take place, 53 percent of UK adults would vote to rejoin the EU.

The really sad part is that just over half wanting to rejoin isn't good enough. The LSE point out that for the UK to rejoin the EU, we'd have to show high polling, >60% - 70% for several continuous years, before they'd let us back in.

Why?

The EU wouldn't survive the embarrassment and humiliation of yet another Brexit.

The first was bad enough for them.

It's brilliant when you think about it.

Or the fact that we’d have to apply under art 49 and that we’d have to have universal EU acceptance…..I wonder if France would be that keen? Don’t jump to conclusions

Things not going too well in French/EU relations?

Half a century ago France change the blue in its tricolour to match the EU colour (suck ups) but now Macron returns it to navy blue - but this is not a dig at the EU, no siree it ain't.

Still, no change to the middle colour! :)

Ha! He's just signalled the world that he knows he's going to lose the elections next year.

How so? Ask any management consultant: if a company is broken and you can't fix it (or the management won't/can't listen or act), then change a logo and go for a bit of rebranding to give the façade of progress, and the employees will have something different to whine about for a few months while the consultant is waiting for their invoice to be paid.

Nah, he's just changing it to match our new passports.

Are factories working ( if such a word can be used without causing mass coronaries among the employees) overtime to manufacture white flags?.

See the BBC for details.

Well thats settled, Royal Dutch Shell have bitten the bullet and are moving the whole lot to the UK as opposed to trying to juggle between Holland & the UK.

LONDON, Nov 15 (Reuters) - Royal Dutch Shell (RDSa.L) said on Monday it would scrap its dual share structure and shift its tax residence and head office to Britain from the Netherlands, seeking to keep investors on board as the energy giant plans a shift away from oil and gas.

The Anglo-Dutch company, which for years faced questions from investors about its complex dual listing, also expects to drop "Royal Dutch" from its name. It will become Shell Plc.

Not forgetting that Unilever done the exact same thing last year.

I think that a dose is about the last thing that I want, at any price.
Or have I missed something?
Whilst the "eye" takes aim at the PROFITS of Doom, companies and Middlemen who cashed in on Covid- and how they did it. I think VDL has made an almighty gaffe. Of Course the EYe's view is that the checks and balances were not adhered to, which of course is in the nature of an Emergency. T'would have been OK in the EU or the socialist cabal wouldn't it.
