The EUs actions seem a bit like the dog in the manger attitude. Having given AZ a bad name and to a large extent not using the vaccine the EU decides that others can't have it. I've seen better behavior in a kindergarten.

Edited for realism, at the last EU elections the electorate was conned with the last minute shoeing in of VdL instead of one of the other proposed candidates. It is or was not only GB that sent gash politicians to Brussels, the Germans do it as well and seemingly so do other EU member states. End result is a heap of losers and self serving mongs, who unsurprisingly are incapable of doing anything sensible.
