Europe really does seem to be led by spiteful incompetents. Im braced for a lot more distractionary spite before it gets better though.
Remember , for a lot of these second rankers this is starting to smell like a career limiter and they are panicking. I expect a lot more irrationality from them in the coming summer.

If those caught landing on UK shores were immediately returned from whence they came, the considerable effort, risk and financial cost would be less viable.

Going back to square one on the same day you hit the jackpot, minus the cash paid to traffickers, would be quite a blow.

As it is, the risk and cost is well worth the gamble.

Many hearts bleed for the 'poor' unfortunate males of fighting age who make it to UK and suffer the deprivations of hotel accommodation, but who's giving a thought to the women and children who can't afford to pay the traffickers to get into the safety of Europe, never mind be able to cross an entire safe continent to a small island where conditions are more agreeable?

You're assuming tha copies of an offical vaccine blank haven't already hit the streets.

I would like to think that there will be a database or point of reference in the UK to check against.
The likes of P+O or Ryanair aren't going to let you on board only to bring you back again at their expense if you get bounced at the other end.
Much like passports and visas at present.
It should be interesting for them, we are already seeing headlines about employment law and 'no jab-no job.'
